The organization dedicated to animal welfare received an overwhelming number of calls, emails, and messages from concerned members of the public, urging them to help the injured monkey. In response, they appealed for prayers and support to ensure Mateo received the medical attention he desperately needed.

Now, Mateo is fully recovered and has been joyfully released back into his family. The reunion was a heartwarming occasion, filled with emotional moments as Mateo was welcomed home by his mother and siblings. Jason, the son of Jill the troop member, joyfully embraced Mateo, who quickly ran to his mother, climbing onto her back as the entire troop celebrated his return.

"This incredible outcome is a testament to the power of community support," a spokesperson for the organization stated. "Without the donations and encouragement from our supporters, Mateo's injuries could have remained untreated, leading to a tragic fate."

After securing permission from the relevant authorities, the team successfully returned him to his mother.
