In a heartwarming rescue, a baby pigtail monkey was saved by the Organization Rescue Wildlife after being found injured at the south gate of Bayon. Reports indicate that an elderly woman discovered the distressed monkey lying on the ground, covered in blood, shortly after he had been attacked by a dog.

Authorities reached out to the rescue center for assistance, prompting a swift response from the organization's team. Upon arrival, they transported the injured monkey to their medical facility, where a thorough examination revealed four dog bite wounds on his body, with more severe bleeding on the right side due to a larger injury.

Initially, hopes for the young monkey's survival were low. However, after receiving critical medical care and medication, he showed remarkable resilience, sleeping for two days before managing to stand and walk again. His health is now steadily improving, and he is described as an adorable young male.

Adding to his unique story, the monkey was found wearing a small gold hoop earring in his left ear. Though he has yet to be officially named, his shy demeanor has led the rescue team to affectionately call him HillBilly. His reluctance to make eye contact, often bowing his head as if seeking forgiveness, has captured the hearts of those caring for him.

The rescue center expresses gratitude for the community's support as they continue to help HillBilly on his road to recovery.
